Who is Stockmates for?
People who already discuss investing with friends, colleagues or a club and want a clearer record of their own trades and ideas. Each person records their positions; Stockmates is not a pooled investment account.
Does it connect to my broker or place trades?
No. You enter trades yourself. Stockmates helps you record and discuss them; it does not connect to a broker, execute orders or hold money.
Who can see my trades?
Members of the private group where you record them. Groups are invitation-only, and there is no public feed. The public example uses fictional data.
What can I record?
Long and short positions in stocks, ETFs, forex, commodities and crypto from the supported instrument catalogue, including partial closes and notes.
Is it free?
Stockmates currently has no subscription fee. You can create an account and start a private group without a payment card.
Are the prices live?
Quotes may be delayed or unavailable. Confirm prices yourself when recording a trade. Performance figures reflect the trades you enter and do not include brokerage fees.
