Delete your Stockmates account

You can delete your account on this website without installing the app.

Sign in using the same email, Google or Apple account you use in Stockmates.
Open Account settings and choose Delete account.
Read the explanation and confirm Delete my account.

In the Android or iOS app, open Account → Delete account.

What is removed?

Your email, real/display name, profile settings, sign-in associations, unused sign-in tokens, group memberships, comments and notifications are removed from our active account records. We also remove your invitation records, associated activity and waitlist entry.

What remains?

Trades and their financial history remain in the groups where you shared them. Your old username remains beside those trades so other group members can recognise them. Your free-text trade notes are removed. Your email and real/display name are not kept with the trades.

Technical logs used for security and troubleshooting expire after seven days. Removal of expired logs by our hosting provider is asynchronous.

After deletion

Deletion cannot be undone. Signing up again creates a new account and does not restore your old memberships. If deletion reports an error, retry: your account may already be disabled while cleanup is incomplete.

If you cannot access your account, contact hello@stockmates.io for help requesting deletion. We will need to verify that the account belongs to you.
